Plotseling olieverlies door V6 nokkenas-verstel-ventiel....

De 106 loopt zuiniger met de 5W30 C2, de motor klinkt als een naaimachientje.

De V6 geeft geen motor storingen bij het uitlezen.
Van wat ik weet is er de afgelopen 4 jaar weinig aan gedaan omdat de auto nauwelijks gereden heeft.
Dit was de 1e oliewissel in 4 jaar en bougies zijn waarschijnlijk nog ouder, net als de bobines.
We gaan de bougies binnenkort vervangen.

Inderdaad, alle grote merken hebben een 5W30 met C2 specificatie voor PSA motoren.
5W30 is mogelijk de meest listige olie, bij een grote automaterialen winkel, telde ik 7 verschillende soorten 5W30 en er stond geen C2 tussen
Goed kijken en lezen wat er op de verpakking staat is aanbevolen.

Hello Friends,
I wanted to thank you guys for this topic, it helped me a lot with understanding my problem of leaking solenoids.
I had to get new/working ones. But it was too expensive for me, so I decided to venture - I bought used Delphi solenoids from Peugeot / Mini (the code is 756665280) and I opened them from the top using a screwdriver and a hammer. It turned out that this specific model is built quite same as ours 1920HE. The only thing I had to do was replace the part that is inserted into the engine from 1920HE.
And the result is.. It's working, and it's cheaper

I tried myself to "open" the housing, but I did not succeed in doing so.
You did it, and apparently could reassemble it again

As the leakage comes from the damaged thin aluminium tube inside, which separates the coil from the moving core, my question now is: how did you solve that problem, where did you find a proper aluminium tube? Is that from one of the previously used solenoids?
If so, could you check its state, how thin was the aluminium now?

Unfortunately I didn't do any photos, so I cannot show it. I had to 'unfold' the metal around plastic solenoid (the green part) in such a way that it could be reused. After operation I had to fold it back using a hammer and punch.

Internal parts of both solenoids - 1920HE and Delphi 756665280 - are practically the same, so it's not solving the problem of bad aluminium tubes.

But the alu tubes of 756665280 (it was used in Peugeot, BMW, MINI - so it's more popular) were in good condition - everything was clean and dry without scratches.
I didn't do any measurements, so I cannot say, how thin were those tubes.
Now I just have to watch it if there is not any leakage.

It cost me a lot less, about 20x
And it's working.

It certainly would have been interesting to me, when I would have to change a "green monster" again.
But after ten years of driving my C5 Break with very much pleasure, I sold it, and changed it in April to my present car: a C5AC-Hy.

Having said that, there certainly are other ES9A V6 drivers reading your efforts with much interest

Zijn er ondertussen alternatieven op de markt? Kan bij de versteller van een 2.0 gebruikt worden? Mijn verstellers lekken ontzettend. 2L olie op 3500km. Heb een namaak geprobeerd maar kreeg foutmeldingen op bank 2….

Ben je nog niet achter de o-ringen aan gegaan dan??
Wat je zegt over de lekkage, als dat zoveel is, kan je distributie riem onder de olie komen, die vind dat niet zo leuk!!
