Power and Torque Increase in C5 X7 3.0 V6 HDi

any of you guys tried to increase the power in your C5 X7 by ECU remapping or other methods?

I'd like to increase the power of my C5, have you got any tips or links?

I've seen the power of the 3.0 hdi can easily be increased to 290hp and 500nm torque, some people increased it even more...

Don't do it, it will damage your AM6
That transmission can withstand a torque of 450 Nm max, that's the reason that PSA has limited the power and torque in the C5.

yes I know that aisin says the maximum torque for the am6 is 450nm but a 10% increase won't be excessive, people also increased it to 550nm, also I'm not planning to drive it aggressively, just have that little more power available when needed

Many freewheels of the stator in the torque convertor of the AM6 did already not survive the normal max. torque of the V6 2.7 and 3.0 HDI's.
Also on this forum this has been mentioned, incl. photographs showing the damage.

that sounds unrealistic if it happend just by torque's fault, a 10% margin is usually tollerated by factory, maybe it was due to other issues as well, do you have the link? (i'll translate it)

As you can read, that was not a unique story
