C5 X7 - Disable Unlocking of all Doors

Hallo C5 owners! Do you understand a little English? Of course you do...

so in the user manual of the C5 3.0 HDi MY2010 it says you can select the unlocking of all the doors or just the driver's door, this option should be found in the confort menu, Plip action:



In my C5 3.0 V6 HDi (with all software updates done) this option isn't there, other C5's of the same period more or less don't have this option either!

For safety reasons I want to be able to open the driver's door only with one press of the button and all doors by pressing it twice, and when I open the driver's door from the inside I want the other doors to stay locked.
How can I accomplish it if the option isn't there? (I have lexia/diagbox but apparently nothing is there about thid issue)

I am not sure, but I think it should work the same way as for the older C5 (2005 to 2007), also called the C5-Ph2 here.
There you can select in the BSI (Lexia) which option should be visible in the display of the car.
I have disabled options that I am not using, like "follow me home light".
I guess that with Diagbox, you should look in the BSI, something with options car or options client.
In the Dutch version, these options are under BSI -> Telecoderen (telecoding in English ?)

It should be found ( diagbox ) in client options like C5hdi110 already suggested , I also had this enabled in my C5-3 ....

by the way when the lexia device and software is connected to the car, the engine of the car must be on or off?

Ignition key in 'on' position, enigine shouldn't run.

Sorry guys I tried browsing around a lot but there are too many options, I'm afraid to mess up something, how do I reach BSI? can you guide me through, which one of these do i click first?

Fault finding is the one I always choose, after clicking that one, Diagbox will perform a general check of all components.
After that you will get a summary of the components and the faults that are found.
One of these items is BSI, choose that one and than just check the menu's, in one of them you should find "client options".

Sorry that I can't pinpoint the exact location where to find this options, as the menu's you see in Diagbox, depend on the type of car, engine, and engine software.

CITROEN C5 PLIP ACTION - UNLOCKING OF ALL DOORS/DRIVER'S DOOR SOLUTION FOUND:

The PLIP ACTION menu must be activated through diagbox, these are the steps for diagbox version 7.83

Select Fault Finding and complete the Global Test.
select BSI at the top
select Repair
select Configuration
select Manual Configuration
select Vehicle Configuration
select BSI PROTECTION - ACCESSES - MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE
select Type of selective unlocking
select Unlocking of driver's door only
back under Type of selective unlocking click the wheels button next to the check mark button to memorize the change

exit the software, turn off ignition key, disconnect cables, turn on car, enter confort menu ---> plip action available!

now with one push of the key fob you open the driver's door only with two all the doors, much better and safer!

one issue has been solved but there is now another one! quite angry at citroen for these unsafe options activated by default:

when you drive the C5 and reach 10kmh it locks all the doors automatically, ok that's excellent and you can also do it by pushing the lock button but...when you stop to get off the car and open the driver's door it unlocks automatically ALL the doors again!!

I'm again trying to find the option to disable it but the software and its few explanations are cryptic! Is it possible to disable this unsafe feature from diagbox??

Why is that unsafe?
With the central locking system, all doors are open or locked, no individual locking of doors.

Anyway, you have to lock the door through which you just left the car.
And then, automatically, the others are locked again as well

yes of course it is like that but it is about a safety perception and uselessness in having the car unlocking all the doors when just the driver's door is opened to get off the car, if it is possible I'd like to disable these feature through diagbox.
