sorry if I'm opening a new post on a topic already discussed several times, but I would like to understand better how this system works. I'm having issues with the ruitensproeier of front windscreen and also with the one in the back : the water coming from the front one hasn't the power needed to reach correctly the windscreen and the back one doesn't work at all. The funny thing is that both the ones on the koplampen are working perfectly.
Maybe they use 2 different pompjes one for the koplampen and the other for the windscreens ?
Do you think I have to change the pomp ? And do you maybe know how much this reparatie ?

Bumper eraf halen en de slangetjes afzonderlijk er af en pomp activeren, en dan de pomp vervangen als het niet werkt of de leiding doorspoelen met warm waswater of lucht pomp.

When the back doesn't work at all, check whether the nozzle is not obstructed/blocked .... otherwise it's very likely that the pump has died
One pump serves all, front/back .... the headlights remain working.
Cleaning the system might help as well like Herman suggested ( warm water/soap ), though with this cold weather I'm not sure if this is recommended
If the nozzle doesn't reach the upper part of the front window try adjusting them, or clean them with high pressure air ( ask the garage, it's a 1 minute job )

If it were "one pump serves all' then the headlight sprayers would also not work. So that's not the case. For the headlights there is a seperate high pressure pump, which almost never breaks down. So probably the other low-pressure pump for the front and rear windows is clogged or the pump is (almost) dead.

That's right: two Onzin. One for the headlights, one for the windows.

Replacing means taking of the frontbumper. About five minutes of work.

pump will cost you about 15 euro.
Make sure you have a bucket ready: when taking out the pump the resevoir will empty. Using a clean bucket means you can poor it back in.

Putting back the front bumper needs two people: One to operate the washer and one to catch the headlightnozzles.

front = pump for the headlights,
middel = pump for the windows.

great guys : I will try to clean the system once temperature will go up a little bit, and otherwise I will ask to the Citroen garage for the new pomp.
